If any student is interested in being the PA announcer for home baseball games, please see Mr. Huber ASAP.

Congratulations to the 7th grade students who competed at Ohio Northern University in the District Science Fair this past weekend. Six students competed receiving either an Excellent or Superior rating. Ethan Warnecke, Kevin Schumaker, Nick Foppe, and Joel Horstman all received Excellent ratings, while Kayla Nartker and Kendal Bockrath earned Superior ratings. Kayla Nartker won four individual awards and Kendal Bockrath won three individual awards. Their awards combined totaled over $500. Both will represent Kalida at the Ohio State Science Fair on May 12th.

The boys’ soccer coach would like to know if there would be any boys that may have participated in soccer at a younger age, that might be interested in giving soccer another try at the high school level.  Ideally we would like to add at least 5 more boys to our JV/Varsity roster.  If that were to happen we would then be able to play full JV games.  As it stands now, we only have 25 boys interested in playing next fall and that number does not allow us to competitively field a JV squad or play a full JV game.

We have 6 eighth grade boys that are interested in playing high school soccer next fall.  If there are any other current eighth grade boys that might be interested in playing, we would certainly welcome you to come out for the team.

If you would like to give the great game of soccer another try, please contact Coach Czubik or Athletic Director Adam Huber if you are interested.

These are all the announcements!  Thanks, have a great day, and as ALWAYS WILDCAT PRIDE!
