Kalida Local Schools is seeking applicants for the position of Treasurer.  Kalida is located in Northwest Ohio in Putnam County and offers a well-rounded academic, co-curricular educational program in a small town setting.  Current district enrollment is approximately

600 students, and 75 employees.

Qualified applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and an Ohio Treasurer License or be able to obtain one.  The Treasurer is responsible for overseeing the entire financial operation of the organization, the accuracy and timeliness of all state and federal reporting, the development of the annual district operating budget and the Five Year Forecast. In addition to maintaining integrity and high standards of ethics in all matters, the candidate is expected to perform all the financial functions of a small district.  This includes, but is not limited to matters pertaining to biweekly payroll, purchase orders, grants, contracts, and human relations/insurances issues, etc.  Preferred candidates will have experience with the “Redesign” state software and proficient skills in Excel and Microsoft Word.
